Affordable Ohio Health Insurance

We provide the guaranteed lowest allowable rates for your Ohio health insurance plan. Whether you are an individual, family, self employed or uninsured, our free service allows you to find the most affordable individual or family health insurance in Ohio. Your quotes are the lowest available rates allowed by each carrier. We'll also discuss and review what impact  insurance reform will have on your specific situation. While some changes have already gone into effect (such as 100% coverage on preventive services), there will be more changes between now and 2014. Some of these changes could impact the rate you pay, including a ruling by the Supreme Court this year.
Instant online individual and family health insurance quotes are provided by an Ohio broker with more than 30 years of experience. This free service is provided by a live person…and your name and information is NEVER shared with anyone...unlike many other sites.  Inexpensive Ohio health insurance plans are available, and we'll find them for you. We represent all of the major companies, such as Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, UnitedHealthOne, Medical Mutual, Humana, Celtic and Assurant. We work for you...not the health insurers. And we never have and never will charge anyone any fees.
By using the "Get Instant Quote" at the top of the page, instantly, you'll be able to view, compare or apply for the most affordable high-quality plans offered to consumers. These rates will be the lowest available in the state. You can easily compare different Ohio medical plans and apply online, by email, by fax or by mail. And once the policy is approved, we'll continue to provide our free service. We can assist you with billing, claims or administrative issues. And yes...we even provide dental quotes.
Good Ohio health insurance can be affordable. There are many plans that can fit your budget and we’ll do the research. These plans will help you when you need them most, and contain the coverages you are likely to use. Catastrophic, comprehensive and HSA health plans are all reviewed so we can properly recommend the best policy for you. And as your needs change and you and your family grows older, we'll be here to review your coverage.
Saving money by “buying direct” for many products we purchase is often possible…except with insurance! Many Insurance Quote Services like to advertise that by “buying direct,” you are saving money. Quite simply, this is not true. Any individual or agency in Ohio that offers insurance, must be licensed by the Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI). No broker or Agency can offer you a “special price.”
Rates must be approved by the ODI and can not differ from one broker to another. Not even a penny! Anyone can sell you health insurance. But medical plans are our specialty and we’ll make sure you receive the best plan for your money. And your personal information will never be shared with any other person or company.

Low Cost Ohio health insurance plans are offered through this website. Anthem Blue Cross, UnitedHealthone, Medical Mutual, Aetna, Celtic and Humana feature low cost Ohio health insurance policies that are extremely affordable. Premiums for individuals, families, the self-employed or the unemployed will be much lower than you realize after viewing some of the plans.
Low cost health insurance plans often contain coverages found in more expensive policies. While catastrophic expenses are usually covered, additional benefits such as office visits, prescriptions, preventative exams and lab/X-ray costs are also sometimes included. Most preventive benefits are now covered at 100% with no waiting period. Recent health care reform changes mandated the preventive benefits coverage along with a few other extra items including the elimination of lifetime caps on benefits paid. These extra benefits also apply to high-deductible policies.
By clicking on the “Get Instant Quote” button at the top of this page, you’ll be able to instantly view and compare almost all of the available Ohio health insurance plans at the lowest available rates. However, before you view your options, I have listed below some low cost Ohio health insurance plans with surprisingly comprehensive benefits.
UnitedHealthOne Copay Select Value plan allows two office visits per person per year (subject to a $35 copay). Generic prescription coverage is included and subject to a $15 copay. Adult and children preventative doctor office visits are also included but no copay applies. Mammograms, pap smears and PSA testing are also covered with no cost to policyholders . A wide range of deductibles is available, making this plan one of the most affordable Ohio low cost health insurance policies.

Aetna Preventive and Hospital Care 3000 plan is perhaps the ultimate “low cost" plan. Premiums continue to be low, despite a rate increase in mid-2009. Essentially, the plan is a catastrophic policy that also includes comprehensive preventive coverages. Annual routine GYN exams, Pap/mammogram and routine physicals are all covered without having to meet the $3,000 policy deductible. The annual lifetime maximum of $1 million has been removed. Aetna Ohio medical plans have been growing in popularity since 2005.
UnitedHealthOne Copay Select plan offers the most coverage of any of the low cost plans. Unlimited covered office visits are subject to a $35 copay and most preventative benefits are included. Generic and non-generic prescriptions are included along with a dental/vision discount program included in the premium. However, to keep premiums low, a major medical deductible of at least $2,500 should be selected. In many areas of Ohio (especially the Central and Southwestern part), this health insurance plan is extremely popular.
